Welcome to the Touch of Class Chorale website

Our mission is simple: Sing Together. Share Together. Smile Together.

Hello again fellow music lovers,

Summer is beginning to wind down, by date if not by temperature, and fall will soon be upon us.
This is a good news/bad news missive:
The good news is that our illustrious director, Allison King, has been hired as music director for UUCV, beginning September 1st. We're excited for her, and wish her good luck in her upcoming challenge to conduct choir rehearsals and direct the group virtually, as UUCV has made the decision not to meet in person until sometime next year. If anyone has a lead on a great place for her to live in our neck of the woods that is cat and piano friendly, please pass it along to her.
Now for the bad news: I am sad to report that we still don't feel we can safely resume our own choir practice, and we have made the decision to cancel the fall season. January is another 4+ months away, and perhaps the news will be different by then, or perhaps Allison will have better insight in to how we might proceed virtually, having "road-tested" her skills with the UUCV group. I'm sorry we don't have a more definitive plan, but it seems we are all being taught to roll with the punches this year.

Rehearsals are temporarily on hold until it is safe to meet in person again.

Attached is our registration form. You can print and fill it out and bring it to the first day of rehearsal.

Why Should You Join Touch of Class Chorale?

Did you know that Touch of Class Chorale has been entertaining audiences in the Vancouver area for over 40 years? This longevity didn't just happen. We have been enduring with three simple components: We sing great choral pieces from various genres, we perform with people we now call friends, and we raise money for local charities with our concert proceeds. We have Women's and Jazz small groups that rehearse Monday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m.
